CIMB Classic
The CIMB Classic is the only PGA TOUR-sanctioned event in the region, held at the Mines Resort & Golf Club, Kuala Lumpur. Co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour, the CIMB Classic has played host to some of the best names in the world of professional golf.
Now in its third edition, the CIMB Classic 2012 will feature the top 30 available players from the final FedEx Cup rankings, and the top 10 available players from the Asian Tour Order of Merit and 8 sponsor's exemptions. The elite field of 48 players will compete for a prize purse of US$ 6.1 million, with US$1.3 million going to the winner.
